Just For Us now streaming on HBO and Max!

Reboot Network member Alex Edelman’s Just For Us had an acclaimed Broadway run last summer in a production co-produced and funded by Reboot Studios as a part of our inaugural round of studio investments. The one-man comedy special was filmed at NYC’s Hudson Theatre during its 9-week Broadway run last summer and is now streaming on HBO and Max! The show centers on the true story of Edelman infiltrating a gathering of white nationalists in New York, and tackles issues of empathy, Jews and whiteness, and antisemitism in thoughtful and hilarious fashion. We’ve Been Here Before

We’ve Been Here Before connects the dots between mass shootings, the rise in anti-semitism, and the rise in hate violence in America in a fresh way. It follows the work of Eric Ward, a renowned expert on the relationship between authoritarian movements, hate violence, and preserving inclusive democracy. Ward was in the punk rock subculture when neo-Nazi’s infiltrated the punk scene in the 1980’s and 90’s. The short documentary film, by Jacob Kornbluth and a part of Reboot Studios’ latest round of funding, is a deep dive into the punk subculture that fought back against White Nationalists and neo-Nazis, and the lessons they have to share with the larger struggle against hate not just in America, but the world. Saturday Night Seder

Rooted in tradition but rewritten to include comedy, music, and sketches, SATURDAY NIGHT SEDER was a grassroots effort put together in just over two weeks at the start of the pandemic by a small team working remotely around the country.

In a time of confinement and uncertainty, a ragtag team of Jews and non-Jewish Passover enthusiasts felt it was more important than ever to channel creative energies and gather community to reinterpret the timeless story of liberation and renewal while raising money for those on the front lines enduring — and fighting — an actual plague.

SATURDAY NIGHT SEDER premiered to an audience of more than 1 million viewers, and has raised more than $3.5 million for the CDC Foundation COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund. It is considered one of the first great examples of pandemic fundraising programming, and is widely hailed as ushering in an era of entertainment using the medium. Learn more and watch here!
