Washington, DC: Shir Delight at Adas Israel

Shir Delight is Adas Israel’s Kabbalat Shabbat experience for young professionals between the ages of 21 and 35.
Our evening begins at 6:30PM with a happy hour oneg followed by a lay-led Kabbalat Shabbat/Maariv service and Shabbat dinner.  While everyone is welcome to join us for our happy hour oneg and services, we can only accommodate a limited number of people for dinner.  For more information and to register, click here.

Our next Shir Delight on March 6this the start of The National Day of Unplugging! The National Day of Unplugging is a 24 hour period—running from sundown to sundown—and starts on the first Friday in March. The project is an outgrowth of The Sabbath Manifesto, an adaptation of our ancestors’ ritual of carving out one day per week to unwind, unplug, relax, reflect, get outdoors, and connect with loved ones. Put the tablet away, hide that laptop, and stuff that cell phone in a sleeping bag. Unplug from Technology for 24 hours (or as long as you can!)
