Foster City, CA: Sensible Media Choices for Parents and a Day to Unplug

The quantity and rate at which our youth are consuming media- movies, YouTube, video, games and advertising- is growing at an exponential rate. Access to both quality and questionable content seems limitless. Dana Blum, Bay Area Director of Common Sense Media will discuss how parents can navigate this rapidly evolving landscape with their kids. Tanya Schevitz of Reboot will explain the merits of the National Day of Unplugging (March 6-7), 24 tech free hours – giving us all an chance to connect without cables.

Ulam Gadol will open at 9 with some breakfast treats. Co-presented by the PJCC and Ronald C. Wornick Jewish Day School.
