UC Berkeley: Berkeley Hillel Unplugs

In preparation for the National Day of Unplugging, Berkeley Hillel’s “Ask Big Questions” fellows will be out on UC Berkeley’s Sproul Plaza in the week leading up to March 6, asking students to fill out the National Day of Unplugging posters, completing the sentence “I Unplug to ________”.

Students who sign up for the UNPLUG CHALLENGE will receive a cell phone sleeping bag branded with ABQ/Hillel/Reboot logos and a Heschel quote about the importance of having independence from technology.

On March 6, from 2-3 p.m. join Berkeley Hillel’s Ask Big Questions Fellowship at Berkeley Hillel, 2736 Bancroft Way, Berkeley, for a conversation about how and when we unplug and get psyched to take the challenge that starts that evening.

Stay tuned the following week for a social media campaign in which students are asked to reflect on Facebook about their experience unplugging for 24 hours. For more information, go here.
