SF: Six-Word Memoirs

Sherith Israel

2266 California St, San Francisco, CA 94115

Reboot's Tanya Schevitz will lead a session on Six-Word Memoirs and each participant will receive a free copy of the book Six-Word Memoirs onJewish Life. Inspired by Ernest Hemingway’s legendary shortest of short stories, “For sale: baby shoes, never worn,” SMITH Magazine’s Larry Smith challenged readers to describe their lives in six words. Seven books and more than 1 million Six-Word Memoirs shared on later, this short form has become a powerful tool to catalyze conversation, spark imagination, or simply break the ice.
