Twelfth Night: Celebrating Chanukah and the Latin-Jewish Musical Story

‘Twas 12 Nights before Chanukah

and on that very night,

There was Latin Jewish music and

Latkes to everyone’s delight.

Some folks were gifts-crazed.

Some were music-crazed, and

Some just wanted to

be part of that new or old dance craze.‎

Dance the night away at B.B. Kings in celebration of the festival of light!

Join us for an evening of live music and celebration in partnership with Hadassah Atid inspired by The Idelsohn Society CD, It’s a Scream How Levine Does the Rhumba.

Ticket cost includes dinner, open bar and the two-CD set, It’s a Scream How Levine Does the Rhumba, The Latin Jewish Musical Story: 1940s-1980s Featuring: Tito Puente, Carole King, Herb Alpert, and many more! The set, released by The Idelsohn Society For Musical Preservation, includes an extensive booklet of essays of the stories that inspired the music and the legendary collaborations that made it happen.
